We got this darling set this week. DD didn't open it until yesterday because of her schedule. The backdrop is wood, I think, at the least very strong, so not like the settings. While I wish it was higher, the height doesn't bother DD in the least. The wheelbarrow and all of the other little accessories are very nice and well made. DD played with this set for three hours straight. Patriot is also just darling with his blanket and lead. I highly reccomend for all of you with horse loving DD's!

I was wondering about this set. I bought DD Patriot and put him back for Christmas, but couldn't decide on the stable set. She loves horses, so looks like I'll be spending the money for this set - LOL!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Can you tell if the wheelbarrow, rake, and other accessory items are wood or plastic?

*hoping for wood but thinking they're probably plastic*

The wheelbarrow is the wood they use with a lot of paint....like Polly's cradle, the sled, 3-in-one bed etc. It is very well made. The rake and shovel and fence are plastic, but they are study, I think the play ability is better for those items to be plastic. They do have a deep wood grain pattern in them and are good looking for plastic. It seems to me the detail on this set is one of the best I have seen AG do in awhile. Like I said before DD just LOVES it...she played with it for quite some time today too.

Shelly: Thanks for the review. Can you give us any dimensions at all? Like if it was set up like in the online photo, with the sides slightly turned in, what would be the overall width, depth, and height?

Thanks! My friend and I were just discussing ordering this today!
